Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni Announces Prostate Cancer Diagnosis

In an official royal announcement, Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni said he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer following medical examinations in China

According to the statement, the diagnosis was confirmed after a thorough medical examination conducted by a team of doctors at a hospital in Beijing.

“Esteemed compatriots, please be informed that following the most careful and thorough medical examination by the team of doctors at a hospital in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, it has been confirmed that I am currently suffering from prostate cancer,” the King said.

King Sihamoni added that, based on medical advice, he will extend his stay in China for treatment for a period of one to three months.
