Dear Mr. and Mrs. Pin:
It was an honor to include you among the nominees for The Immigrant Learning Center’s 2014 Immigrant Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. You can see more photos from the event at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/
This event is only one of the ways The Immigrant Learning Center, Inc. (ILC) strives to educate Americans about the economic and social contributions immigrants make to Massachusetts and the country. As a nominee, you help us achieve our mission by being an outstanding example of immigrant entrepreneurship. This year, there were more than 30 mentions of the awards in the media ranging from Boston.com to local papers to ethnic media to a half-hour special about immigrant entrepreneurs on Channel 5 WCVB. Here is an article that features you from the Lowell Sun:: http://www.lowellsun.com/
To see more of the ways The ILC educates the public, go to the website www.ilctr.org and click on Public Education. You can see more about how The ILC helps thousands of immigrants and refugees become productive members of society by clicking on Programs.
I hope that you found the awards dinner a valuable experience and will consider attending next year. Please also consider nominating another deserving immigrant entrepreneur. I’ll be in touch again early in 2015 about next year’s event.
Thank you for making Massachusetts a better place to live and work.
Sincerely,
Karen
