Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and his high-level delegation safely arrived in Washington, D.C., the United States (US), on the night of 16 February 2026 (Cambodia time).
Upon arrival, Samdech Thipadei was warmly welcomed by Koy Kuong, Cambodian Ambassador to the US, and Keo Chhea, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the United Nations.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet departed Phnom Penh on the night of 15 February 2026 to attend the Inaugural Meeting of the Board of Peace, to be held on 19 February 2026 at the Donald J. Trump U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., the United States.
During his stay in Washington, D.C., Samdech Thipadei will hold bilateral meetings with some US dignitaries and leaders of other countries to exchange views on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors. He also plans to undertake a working visit to Europe, including Geneva and Brussels, where he will meet with prominent leaders and key stakeholders to further enhance partnerships and collaboration.
