Governor Charlie Baker Endorses Kamara Kay for State rep. 18th District

Lowell – on Tuesday November 1st, Governor Charlie Baker endorsed Kamara Kay for state representative in the 18th Middlesex District. “Kamara Kay epitomizes the hope and promise of America,” said Governor Baker. “After coming to United States from Cambodia, Kamara has lived out the American Dream. By running for state representative, he’s shown he’s committed to giving back to the country that has given him so many opportunities. The 18th Middlesex District and the City of Lowell will be well-served by someone who understands the struggles of the newly arrived and can help build an environment where they can succeed.”

“I’m honored by Governor Baker’s endorsement, and am excited to go to Beacon Hill to be a part of the Baker-Polito team,” said Kamara Kay. “I look forward to partnering with Governor Baker to advance our shared priorities of expanded opportunity through public charter schools, and fiscal discipline. I know that together, we can deliver results for Lowell.”

Kay will join Gov. Baker tomorrow at 3PM in Lowell to promote public charter school at 198 Holyrood Avenue.

The 18th Middlesex District is in the Highlands and Acre in the City of Lowell.
