Dr. Kem Keyism’ Anniversary of His Political Assassination July 10th.

By Tooch VAN, Cambodian-American and Community Activist who currently lives and works in
Lowell MA, USA.
Considering one of the founding fathers; who tirelessly fights for democratic building process in Cambodia, searching for the truths by criticizing the flaws of Phnom Phnom Government’s doing is a morale and social responsibility of Dr. Kem Ley!

Dr Kem sheds the lights of a truth of democratic building process and its implementation; this light of Dr. Kem Leyism should continue in every Cambodian, Cambodian-American’s heart and minds that, we must pick up the torch from him for Cambodia and her poor country and continue his journey where he has started. And I quote his word, “Wipe out your tears, continue your journey,” Dr. Kem Ley.

Millions of Cambodians in Cambodia & abroad expressed sorrow deeply for Kem Le’s homicide, through the songs, the prints, many forms of expressions such as participation in holding funeral ceremonies, building his statue as well as contribution to Dr. Kem Keyism and his family.
Comparing to Dr. Kem Ley of Cambodia to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr of United States Dr Kem is for good governance and people quality of livings, justice for all of Cambodians; Dr. King is for civil rights and integration of black movement into mainstream in 1960s is matter for everybody who lives on this earth.
Dr. Kem is a people charactered leader, almost everybody in Cambodia – even vegetable sellers and moto bike’s Taxi and Turk Turk enjoy listening to his analysis and talks Dr. King is a charismatic leader who inspires millions Americans-all colors and all walks of lives…to believe in themselves: having self esteems and self confidences in themselves to craft their lives in the challenging world—look at the United States now!
Dr Kem is a symbol of democratic building process in Cambodia, who is in hoping his journey that he built, continues,
Dr. King is a symbol of civil right movements, who believes in the movement is matter to all Americans. These of two doctors’s journeys just begin, please help to pick the torch to continue their journeys, so we will live in the world that has a true freedom and justice for all.
